Cheadle Tennis club is part of Cheadle (Kingsway) Sports Club. The tennis section is relatively new but has a long heritage. The funds for the courts, fencing and pavilion were made possible from the sale of the old Gatley Tennis club, which was located on Belmont Road for many years.
The new club was established in 2006 and continues to attract new members.
Monday evening is Ladies practice night (Gents welcome!) while Thursday is for Gents practice night (Ladies welcome!).
Social tennis is available on Thursday evenings throughout the year and at other times during the summer.
Juniors meet on a Friday evening and Saturday morning.  | |
